Surrounding area

Warthill Grange is 6 miles East of York inbetween the quiet villages of Warthill and Stockton on the Forest.

The site itself is surrounded by natural woodland and the entire site is surrounded by open fields. It is very quiet.

We are 2 miles from the village of Stamford Bridge which has all of the shops and takeaways you need (very good fish and chip shop!).

Fishing is also available at Stamford bridge on the River Derwent.

We are also 2 miles from the Monks Cross Shopping centre, This has possibly every High street store and also includes Asda and Sainsburys. There is also a Park and Ride scheme at Monks Cross if you dont want to drive into the City Centre.

If you dont want to cook it is worth having a walk to the local pub (Agar Arms). It is approx 3/4 mile but if you like Steaks it is well worth the walk!
